What is fear
Fear is one of the hardest of the emotions to "overcome" or rather, to "find its transparency". Fear is at the core of every emotion felt while operating as a "me", except for the rare deep joy that is felt "within". And what is that fear? The need to protect that "me". When one is angry, they are trying to protect that "me" out of fear. When one is sad, they are trying to protect that "me" out of fear. When one loves, (not the Real unattached Love, but the love that needs to control, attach to and cling to), they are trying to proect that "me" out of fear. Even when one is happy, fear drives the need to "remain happy" to try and protect that me. Fear is the basic human driver of almost every emotion and most certainly the last of those transparent emotions to be seen through. This is most certain, when the last of that "fear" has dissolved, so have "you".

please write a few words regarding fear of receiving pure, innocent, wholesome, unconditional love.
Fear at its core is unAcceptance. UnAcceptance is the resistance against what one fears... see the merry-go-round? Acceptance Always leads to Freedom, which in turn leads to Simplicity.
Simply Accept whatever comes your way, regardless of its package. Open up to the wonder of Presence (True Gift). Each moment and happening is a Gift of the Universe. Accept the Gift and allow Presence to show you what lies beneath every surface: the Center of Pure Freedom; your True Nature.
Anything you resist is a conditioning/belief/thought that is unreal. It is has as much hold as you give it and only stays as long as you resist. Acceptance of everything is the Acceptance of What Always Already IS. Acceptance of everything is Acceptance of your True Self.
experience suggests that there is no dress-rehearsing for the alchemy of transforming fear to freedom. Each time is different. Immersion must be total. one cannot transcend a state that is being held onto.
You could consider this Path that leads to This Which Already Always IS as a un-dress rehersal. The layers of ego are falling away revealing Truth As IS.
